Ceftriaxone Study

Now Enrolling for the Ceftriaxone Study

The Ceftriaxone trial is the culmination of several years of work focused on the discovery of drugs that may slow the course of ALS. The current ceftriaxone trial benefits from strong scientific data in test tubes and laboratory animals demonstrating that this drug, and those like it, can “turn on” a mechanism that results in protection of motor neurons. We also know from our experience in the preliminary safety trial with 66 patients, that this drug gets into the nervous system at potentially therapeutic levels. Thus, we are enthusiastic about this trial and will be happy to discuss your interest in participating.
