Research focus:
I am a clinical neurologist with subspecialty training in Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders. My research interests have included the description of clinical phenomenology of these disorders, including natural history and outcomes. In addition, an emphasis has been on the development of therapies through clinical trials primarily in Parkinson’s disease but also in dystonia and Huntington’s disease. Finally, recent work has also delved into the cause of Parkinson’s disease examining both environmental and genetic possibilities.
