Keith McGregor, PhD is a CDA-2 recipient currently investigating the effects of physical activity on neural correlates of aging. His current project uses TMS, fMRI and DTI to investigate changes in neural function as a result of the regular engagement in cardiovascular training. Dr. McGregor received a Bachelor's of Arts degree with Honors in Psychology with a Biological Psychology concentration from the College of the Holy Cross in 1997. Dr. McGregor graduated from the University of Florida with a PhD in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience in 2010. His dissertation (Neural Correlates of Aging in the Motor System) was funded by a competitive VA Predoctoral Fellowship Award granted in 2008. In 2012, he completed a VA-funded CDA-1 award studying the effects of physical activity on neural correlates of aging in mid-life. He is interested in rehabilitation of motor control and aging.
